(I feel like such an idiot bc I posted this on the 08 boards by mistake)
So I got my garter this weekend!!! Funny story behind how I found it...
I went to an Irish Festival in Wildwood NJ this past weekend. There were a bunch of vendors selling typical Irish stuff, when lo and behold I find a METS garter in South Jersey..Phillies Country!! I just had to buy it!! I was also tempted to buy the GIants one too but needed to save money for the Guinness! FH is going to be so surprised when he sees the garter and when he finds out where I got it LOL
BTW the woman attached the a business card (for you brides in PA or NJ):

Awesome!!!
FH finally 'gave me permission' to get the Islanders one, so I'll def check and see if there's anything on that website for online purchase.

I want an Isles one too!! I love hockey!!
Do you think its silly to have a Mets one, Giants, and Isles one? Poor FH would be so confused.

Very cute!
I was debating getting a Mets/Yankees one (since I'm a huge Mets fan and FH loves the Yanks) but I can't bring myself to wear anything Yankee related, esp on my wedding day.
I might go with a Jets or islanders one instead.

Go with Jets bc anything Mets is tainted

I got 4 garters, lol. I got a Yankees set (I'm a die hard fan, he's a very big fan as well) and a Jets set.. FH lovesssssss the Jets. I'll prob. wear a Jets one and just keep the Yanks.
