FH told me he wants me to wear a garter. So I was looking online to see if I could find one I liked and I can't believe how much money they are. Maybe I'm cheap, I dont know but the they seem to be about $20 and up. I used to pay $1 for a scrunchie at Busy Bee and too me a garter is a frilly scrunchie.

Re: Garters
maybe you can ask the place where you got your dress to use extra material to make one. if they have to hem your dress there will be some extra left over.

Re: Garters
Check out ebay...there are some pretty cheap ones on there...
I know that what i want to do for my garter is a bit pricey (for a frilly scrunchie as you put it lol) but i think its worth it...just to see FH's surprise at what it is and also i feel its a keepsake...

Re: Garters
I will probably make one, they arent all that difficult.
Have you tried Michaels or Walmart? I know it sounds weird, but in the party section they have wedding stuff, and it includes Garters, hankies, veils and Tiaras

I do too.
I used to go there all the time. I loved getting cotton candy when I was there.
