Gartner Studios Invites(print them youself)

Anyone wanna share ideas on doing them..was it hard or easy? I do see templates on line for them...Did they come out nice..I am NOT a fan of expensive invites so it seems like the way to go, but do they look too cheesy?
THANKS!

I did mine with the pearl swirl invitation set and it was simple, although not as simple as they make it sound. It was pretty easy overall but I added a bow to the invite which made it more complicated.

We used our own inner and outer envelopes since theirs was only an outer envelope. We also bought extra RSVP cards since there wasn't enough for the reception invite and the RSVP.

We had trouble with the RSVP cards since they are perforated and separated with my printer. I eventually just separated them and printed the small cards individually.

Many people thought they were professionally done and I was happy because we did them exactly the way we wanted. I'm a bit picky with these things and didn't trust anyone else with them...

Worth the money if you have the time!

I haven't had a chance to take pics of them yet...

PS - we were considering doing the vellum thing but it was a nightmare - don't bother with the supplementary bow set if you choose to do that, just order the ribbon and do it yourself!

I think it depends on the quality of your printer. I'm using them for the RD, not the wedding. When I was looking for invites, I saw a lot of simple inexpensive ones that were close the the Gartner ones I saw in the stores.
