Gas Spinoff-How is your mileage?

Jsut curiosu-what car)s) do you drive & approxiamtley how many miles per gallon do you get?

I take the train to work, so we have 1 car that DH drives, a Nissan Sentra, & it gets (I think) about 26 miles. DH thinks that isn't great for a small car.

I don't really drive it all that much - so a tank of gas lasts me two to three weeks at a time - so i'm not really concerned with it....
i'm sure Dh knows his stats though...he drives a heck of a lot more than i do!

I have a Nissan Pathfinder and it's 13-15 MPG. I spend about $100 a week on gas just to and from work

I have a Saturn SL. on that website someone posted it said:
City 24 mpg
Highway 34 mpg
Combined 28 mpg

I usually get about 27 mpg and most of my driving is not highway driving AND it is a 1991. This is one of the reasons I am still driving it.

i have an explorer and it's about the same, if not worse . Doesn't help that I hate my car to begin with - now I wish it would just die!

Thank god I take the train every day! (I used to drive 95 miles each way - - no way I could keep up with those cash demands).

Our Toyota Corolla has a 12 gallon tank, and we can usually get about 300 miles or so out of it.

I think the Bug has a 14 gallon tank. I get about 275 mpg using the AC and everything

ETA: I don';t really pay attention. I fill it when it's ampty, which is about once a week during the school year

and this is what that site says:

City Gas Mileage 22 mpg/city
Highway Gas Mileage 28 mpg/hwy
Combined Gas Mileage 24 mpg/combined

Just looked it up...

2000 Mitsubishi Galant

Fuel Type Regular
MPG (city) 21
MPG (highway) 28
MPG (combined) 24
Annual Fuel Cost 1595

However, my car is NOT running (yeah, it died...I need a MECHANIC!) so I save on gas?!
