Has anyone been here? Is it fancy or semi casual? I was wondering how to dress..
Thanks

Re: Gatsbys Restaurant in Islip..
I've been there...It's kind of expensive, so I'm not sure if there's a dress code, but I wouldn't go in jeans. We went after work so were both in work clothes. Teller's across the street is more expensive and I've seen people there in jeans, so it's probably whatever you're comfortable in.

I go there often. I usually take clients there for lunch or go for happy hour. The food is good. The dress is business casual. You can get dressed up if you want, some people do. I don't recommend wearing jeans though. Enjoy!

The food is great. Not cheap though.... Casual attire but no jeans.

It used to be a brothel many years ago.... It is such a beautiful place now. I have been there dozens of times.

Noooo! Really?! DHs grandmother who is 87 said she had her wedding there when she was 20, and at the time a nice restaurant! Who knows what was going on upstairs though!
