Had my first fitting today! Went fairly well, my bustle is a lot different then I imagined but it looked pretty, if slightly unusual. I had one moment of, 'gee, I'm not so sure about this dress'. But it went away as the seamtress started pinning it. Sent out the invites today too. That made me really nervous!! The woman at the Holtsville (teeny tiny post office) branch was really nice about it. Did them right in front of me. Got a hair/ make-up trial tomorrow with fairytale. Now if I could just get FH to pick a tux out...

I figured I'd better since I do not get weekdays off very often. The seamstress at the bridal shop is only there Monday thru Thursday. Makes it interesting to schedule an appointment since I work until 8:00 most nights. Got my 'sample centerpiece' appointment next wednesday after work. Can't wait to see what John at Flower Michele does!

I wouldn't worry Dawn. I had to send my invites out a little early because my entire family is out-of-state and they need to make travel plans etc. A couple of my temp jobs (I temp in other dental offices on my days off) fell through so I thought I'd better do stuff now. Now I'm wondering if I should do programs for the ceremony...lol
