Gee, thanks Dad!

Gee, thanks Dad!

People started receiving their invitations yesterday and my dad got to work today and one of his co-workers handed him the response card and asked if he should mail it, or just give to him. My dad told him not to mail, he would take it.

If only my father knew how much he paid for stamps, he might have told him to mail it!

well now if the wedding leaves you in the poor house... you can cut and paste that unused stamp onto another piece of mail.

i mean no big deal. it got to you right?

A few people at DH's job handed him the RSVp. I cut out all the stamps to re-use them.

eeek dad!!! pretty funny how dad's are, my dad doesn't get why it's a big deal either, he took my grandmothers response and handed it back to me rather than putting it in the mail - and he said what's the matter at least you got it

I had one handed to me too and I was kinda bummed! Don't they know exciting it is to get it in the mail???????

Eh, in the grand scheme of things.............it's better than not getting the rsvp at all.

All very good comments.

And the rsvps are going to my parents house not to my APT so it doesnt make a difference to me at all.

I will totally reuse my stamp!

I had a few people hand me the RSVP and told me I should have saved the stamp since I see them often. I explained to them that it really would not have made a difference if I didn't buy their 1 $.44 cent stamp. The extra $1.50 would not have put me in a better financial situation than I am in right now. LOL

ETA: WE IS BROKE!!!
