2014 Bride here! This week I'm supposed to work on finding my photographer. I want something DIFFERENT, something FUN! I fell in love with George Street, but I feel kinda sketchy about it. They wanted to meet at Panera!? If anyone has ANY information on this vendor please let me know!!
Thanks

We met with then too, at Panara....loved the work but we the sales person kept mentioning if our photographer wasn't available the day of our wedding they would send us someone else...it was mentioned about 10+ times and that made us think that happens guide often. They also only offer a second photographer for 6hours because its 'not needed for all10 hours' which is odd because no one else said that. When we upgraded their package to what everyone else offered us they were more money too.

We're going with tlc entertainment. They've been around a while (my friend used their dj at her wedding 12 yrs ago). It's a small company. The owner Adrian is amazing and he will be doing our wedding. A little pricey but definitely worth the money since there's no second chance to get the pictures you want. They have us a slightly better deal bc we booked dj, videographer and photographer with them.

A close friend of mine is a photographer with them. He only gets paid 45 or 50 an hour. I figure the associate will be even lesser. I was told he can't edit the pictures from their wedding as he's not paid to do so. You pay peanuts to the photographer but a whole lot to the company. That should explain the quality of pictures one is like to receive.

I met with George Street and while I liked the rep I spoke to (at a Panera!) I wasn't a big fan of not getting to meet or speak with the photographer before the wedding. She basically said we could communicate via email and she would be a middle man. She showed us a few photographers portfolios that she thought we might like to help get a feel. While they were nice, they weren't full, so it was hard to tell if I'd like a full wedding shoot without seeing them all.
They are very reasonably priced, but actually there are other studios that are comparable that offer more personal communication/touches.
After I met with them we were considering them, but then someone my FH works with said their son used them for his wedding and had horror stories, so we decided to stay away.
