Georgettes

I've heard everyone talk about Georgettes for their undergarments. Where are they located?

Yes, it's in Hicksville. I went there and absolutely LOVED it. I've actually never heard bad things.

Ok, so they're VERY honest with you but to me, that's a good thing. Just as an example, when I was there, I overheard the woman in the dressing room next to me saying 'But what about this extra skin?' and the little old German woman that works there replied 'Honey, there's nothing we can do about that - that's your body. They're called rolls.' I almost lost it.

Anyway, if you can stand unbaised judgment, they're the best in the business. She fitted me perfectly and I actually found out that I've been wearing the wrong bra size for ages. Definitely try them.

they only had one thing in my size, so that was a boomer, but they were nice.

Well I went to Mary's because I HEARD THEY were the best!!!!!!!!! They gave me the wrong size bra. I took it for my dress and they laughed at me said you can't wear this it doesn't fit. I had to buy one there at the dress place that didn't really fit properly either. I took it to Georgettes and they fixed it. GO THERE.

I went to Georgettes back in March because I wanted to get a corset to wear while trying on dresses and I have to say that I was very happy with them. I got a great fitting corset and I will be going back there before the wedding. The woman that helped me was very sweet and very understanding about my insecurities...she was really good with helping me switch bras and everything. So my experience was good.

I had a great experience there too- they are on Broadway in Hicksville- right near the Grumman complex.

what is the mean or average price os corsets there? I am trying to stay in a budget and so far Davids bridal has a lot but not the best quality and I went to Victorias secret and they have new ones they measure and make for you at about $79...would georgettes be more?

For whoever asked about cost- I paid $48 at Georgettes for my long-line bra for under my dress. I thought that was a good price. It was better than the same thing I wore at David's when I tried on dresses.
