Can anyone tell me anything about Georgettes in Hicksville? How is their selection, service? any info would be appreciated. I wanted to go to Blums but it is SO far! TIA!

That is where I am going to be going for all of my 'stuff'.
My cousins are all married and the whole family swears by Georgettes. They told me that the service is excellent .

the service is wonderful and I have used them for years. however, let me just say this... The long line bra i got for the wedding, is not quite right. it 'fits' but does not fit for what i want it to do... i'd prefer it be a bit smaller, suck me in a bit more, and push the ladies up a bit higher.
The ladies at Georgettes will not sell you a bra that doesn't fit you. She basically 'yelled' at me (in an adorable, way that I am not mad about at all) when I suggested going to a smaller bra size for the wedding.
Comfort, and function is the purpose of a bra, if i want to be skinnier, i should go on a diet, said in a fantasticly honest manner that was completely uninsulting.
the bras i got for everyday where from there are WONDERFUL, and as soon as i wore them people commented on how i look like i lost weight, or that i changed SOMETHING, b/c of how much better i looked and felt wearing a bra that fit.

i love them there!! i went there and yep they told me flat out i was hanging 'too low' for my age and i needed to push the ladies back up.. totally uninsulting but REAL.. showed me how to put a bra on correctly.. *bend over.. and then scoop the ladies into place.. lol and i'll add this.. i took my longline to my fitting which was the following day and it looked AMAZING.. i had cleavage!!! and as secretary of hte itty bitty titty committee i can honestly say i have NEVER IN MY LIFE had cleavage!

OMG Georgettes is totally worth the trip!!
They have excellent service and I ended up getting not only the longline strapless bra for my gown but an everyday bra as well that is soo comfy! If they don't have it they will order whatever it is.
Also I am not big breasted and all of a sudden I have cleavage!
Its really worth the trip and imo so much better than the first place that I went to (Woman's Boutique in West Hempstead).

they are located around the block from my house everytime i have gone in there i was impressed the ladies really do know their stuff ...im sure i will go there for my underthings

One of my friends swears by Georgettes too for undergarments, and I've read really good reviews on this site about it, too. When I mentioned to the saleswoman at the bridal salon where i bought my dress that i was thining of going to Georgettes for a long line bra, she immediately said that it was a good choice!
