I love love love Gerber Daisies so all my wedding flowers are going to be gerber daisies and gerber daisies alone! I'm getting married in May 2008 is there anyone who can send some pictures my way of gerber daisy wedding decorations and wedding flowers... I'm have such a hard time picking out colors as well...Any suggestions!!!

I am also using Gerber Daisies in my wedding which is 8/11/07...I don't have pictures of them yet but when I do I will post them! My main color is pool and so my gerber daises are going to be white mostly in mine with a couple pink..and my girls are having mostly pink with a few white...there are so many different colors too...I am using the hot pink and like a bubble gum pink...I will send them in a few weeks!!! I am so excited!!
I can't find any pictures now but my shower flowers were gerber daisies and they were so beautiful!!!!!!! I am getting married at the vineyard caterers so as a theme my sister and bm's filled empty wine bottles with water a few very long stemmed daisies and a few sprigs(did I make that word up?) of that long beach grass....so pretty...I will look for a picture for you!

I am a gerber girl-12 days to go. FM me if you want details of what we are doing-i havent posted pics of all of our DIYs yet like place cards, card box, bathroom basket, etc.
Here are some of ooday's gerber inspired DIY...LOVE letters for the cake table, our guest book and the silk gerber hair combs I made for each of my girls to coordinate with their dress. Its on a comb so can be worn in any hairstyle.
BRIDESMAID GERBER HAIR COMBS: CHEAP TO MAKE! And sooo easy and really ended up pretty. Back of the combs: Tryigng one out (they can slip in pretty much anywhere into any hirstyle becase of the comb.
LOVE LETTERS: Ok so I TRIED Decorating them in trim like so many girls do; pink and white or orange and white. But I do not have surgeons hands and they ended up retarded. So instead I bougth wood rub ons and sticky jewels and voila! LOL the shakey handed girl's way to gettin' it done!

GUESTBOOK: Our gusest book will also double as the story of how we met (in the first few pages) for those who do not know it. I took a plain black 8x8 scrapbook (5 bucks on sale) and covered it with scrabook papers, stickers and embellishments in our colors. Cover: Inside cover:

These will be our BM boquets-I originally wnate all gerbers but I dont like how 'squished' they look all mashed together. having some variety to the flowers gives better texter I think so that's what we did.
Our colors will be red orange and pink though but this setup.
My bouquet: It will look like this but all red, pink, orange and those ivory gerbs with pink centers.

Our Cardbox: Thanks to JKiesel for telling me about this planter at AC Moore. We painted it and decorated it with garlands from the dollar store-removed the roses and replaced them with gerbers. I really am happy with it.
