I love love love Gerber Daisies so all my wedding flowers are going to be gerber daisies and gerber daisies alone! I'm getting married in May 2008 is there anyone who can send some pictures my way of gerber daisy wedding decorations and wedding flowers... I'm have such a hard time picking out colors as well...Any suggestions!!!

Hello Date Twin.... I will be using Gerbera Daisies too.... Sorry but I don't have any pics of them alone.... I will most likely be using them with roses too... The pics that have been posted are so great too....

I used Gerber daises for our centerpieces and boks....I have pics of our centerpiece in an album and also pics of our wedding in an album HTH

to the gerber daisy fans:
not to burst your bubbles (I love them too), but I recall Petey's bride being completely crushed becuase she couldn't use gerbers in any bo-ks... I believe she said they require buckets of water to stay perky..... you may want to FM her for more info....

I'm using ALL Gerbers for my boquets! I got a sample bouquet and left it out of the water for 24 hours on a hot day and it did fine
I'll let you guys know in 13 days how it goes!! I have NO FEARS!!

Yea...Ok so I tested em out-Twice. Two diff florists, 4 bo-ks. Two all gerbers, two mixed. ON VERY hot days. Instead of leaving them in water as most brides do and then claim they last all day, I carried mine around the house as I would on the BIig day because florists said the manhandling of the stems is what often destroys them. And it did in the hand tied one. The other was a water source and specilly wired and that lasted ok but it was mixedwith other flowers. They wilted a bit but other flowers stayed perky. On the hand tied one, two heads popped off. Very upsetting but good to know beforehand. TEST THEM FOR REAL! Dont just stick them in water and say ooo they ar eprfect all day! For cps we are using all gerbers casue duh in water they do fine. But outside, even when arranging them, some snapped off at the heads. VERY fragile.

We are mixing all our flowers except our CPS:
My Bo-k without the blue-just orange, pink, red and icory,
Our side pieces for ceremony and then sweetheart area.
For our chairs during ceremony and coctail hour(in the same place)
Our BM's Bok: They will have red, orange and pink gerbers and roses in theirs. My MOh will also have white gerbers with pink centers in hers to match her dress.
Our centerpieces: We will be adding thick rose petals all around the base of the vase and candles sorta like this picture and then adding a few mor ecandles.

We used Gerber Daises and had no issues...the flowers held great that day and for days after....all we got were compliments on the flowers....

here are my DIY gerber CP which i just had at my eparty this past saturday! everyone raved about them
maybe something a little bit more elaborate but along these lines?
