My sister used them for her Sweet 16 - also a june party!
She ordered them from Sam's Club in Medford.
Costco and BJ's will probably be able to get them for you too.

Re: Gerbers in bulk?
I want to use these too-we worked our colors around them but were going to DIY and then were told they were fragile. We're worried but still trying to push through-just need them to survive the photos! LOL. Worse comes to absolute worse, they will each carry just one down the aisle. cest la vie. The first website was awesome but does anyone know what 'bud form' means for a daisy? How many days would we need to have them in advance to ensure they bloom? Has anyone been through this before? I know some posters said relatives ordered, but were the flowers in full bloom? When were they ordered? How soon before the wedding. Were they easy to care for before the day of? Thanks.

My sister ordered cala lillies, and I believe they came 2 or possibly 3 days before the wedding, with very clear instructions as to where/how to store them (sunlight, temp, etc..) They did not arrive fully open, but looked perfect the day of. It takes a little effort, but it was well worth it if you have a few friends/relatives willing to help you arrange them and transport them day of.

yeah i had to do this for my e-party...We bough amaryllis flowers from the wholesale flower district, great prices btw.
Well we had to pick them 3 days before and they came closed, and it was work...Each one had we had to pierce it with a needle on top to help with the water flow...then bc the stems are hallow inside we had to buy bamboo sticks cut them in half and stick them inside each one...Also they have to stay in warm water, so we constantly had to change the water once it got cold, and also it had to stay in warm temperature in order for them to fully bloom, so we had to make sure it was warm in the house, and yes it makes a difference. The first day we put them in two big buckets and put it against a wall since they were so fragile, and put foam around the wall...Then the next day i had to put all of them in vases, i had vases all over my house lol. I seriously was going crazy with these flowers and driving myself crazy.
Then the day of its hard bc its like ok how are we going to transport them, we had to package them up so carefully, but it did work out and they did bloom.

This sounds like A LOT more work than the callas required, so I guess it really all depends on your type of flower. Ask questions and know what you're getting yourself into before you decide to do this, and it just really may be worth your while as long as you have the patience and the help!

yeah amaryllis are fragile flowers, bc the stem is thick usually means its hallow inside so you have to be careful just so it doesnt bend or anything like that. for me it was just more stress and probably put more into it than i should've bc i was just nervous about whether or not they would open. But even with this work, it was worth it the day of.

Re: Gerbers in bulk?
I just found Grower's Box on-line. They seem great and reasonable priced. How was the service?
