Munich! Take a tour of the beer gardens! Hofbrahaus (sp?) is so much fun!

And, go see the castle that the one @Disney is supposed to resemble! Ahhh... I just can't remember the name of it offhand! It's beautiful though!

Germany is awesome! I had such a blast there! You're gonna love it!

I took a tour of the Bavarian area two years ago...and Rothenburg was beautiful. You might want to take a river trip on the Rhine too. The Disney Castle that BCC72206 mentioned is one of King Ludwig's castles. I think it is called Neuschwanstein. I do not remember 100%, since I went to his other castle Linderhof.

Re: Germany

when are you going? winter or summer? i lived in germany for a year. i studied german languages and linguistics there, that is why i was there.

Munich is really nice and i love the Hofbräuhaus. i went to Oktoberfest, but i have to admit that it was very touristy and i couldnt get into any tents to drink beer, b/c you have to reserve months in advance.

Berlin is my all time favourite city! i went there for weekend trips often b/c of friends and DJ events that i wanted to see. love parade is really fun in the summer if you like electronic music such as trance and german techno, which we dont get in the states. also it is so rich in history. i am a history lover, so i was all into it.

hamburg is cool i heard, but i stayed at a place that was outside of the city. i did alot in the south b/c that is where i lived, in the state of Baden-Würtenburg.

Baden-baden has a famous spa.
Freiburg is cute.

In Bayern (bavaria) Garmisch is great for skiing.

FM me if you have any questions.
