GET 2 KNOW U- DAILY TOP 5!!

Seriously, why not a daily top 5?? I love a countdown!!

What are your top 5 movies??? I know, basic, but I love these lists.

1. All the President's Men - Nixon blows.
2. Jaws- I can watch it EVERY TIME it's on, even though I know every line. It's on one of the HBO's right now, which is why I thought of it.
3. The Usual Suspects- What's your story, pretzel man? Great dialogue. Benecio Del Toro is a riot in this movie.
4. Superbad, Anchorman- any Apatow movie, preferably with Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell. Why does Paul Rudd crack me up? Will he ever be a leading man??
5. Shawshank Redemption- one of the greatest stories ever. I mean, it's a beautifully written story- hard to watch, but life-affirming.
6. Reservoir Dogs- old school choice. Some of the best lines in movie history.
7. American Beauty- how about that scene with the dancing bag? Who doesn't cry?? And Annette Bening is a riot.
8. Dazed and Confused. - Come on, Matthew McConaghey as Wooderson?? The fact that he has a pipe built into his belt buckle is movie magic.
9. Empire Strikes Back- because I have to put at least one of these movies on my list. I don't know why, but it seems like it has to be there.
10. Rocky 2. Horrible dialogue, acting, cinematography, everything. But when the mob boss gets up and yells, during the final fight, 'Go for it, Rock', for some reason, I get all tingly and cry. Then when he wins and hugs the Mick, forget about it.

Okay, that's 10, and still not half of them. What are your faves??? No porn.

Veggie Bride- Godfathers ALL except for 3. How could I have forgotten?? Fredo, you broke my heart. And the exorcist is probably the best horror movie ever. Did you see the new and improved one where she crabwalks down the stairs? And did you see Exorcist 3?? It was good.

DinaandRob- GOODFELLAS!! How did I drop that ball? Second only to the Godfathers for mob movies.

And I CAN'T believe they censored Mamma M I @!!! It's the LIW Thought Police.

AnthonysGirl- I was completely going to put Moonstruck on my list, and I have the tape. That's TOTALLY my family. 'You've got a love bite on your neck!' Awesome.

Making of a Mulligan - Bridget Jones Diary. I am not a romance movie fan, but this one I can watch every time I see it on. And I always wind up thinking Colin Firth is the hottest guy ever, and I totally don't think that.

WishfulRinne- Pretty Woman is CLASSIC. Again, I could watch it every time. Love the makeover movies. And the goonies? Baby Ruth! Sloth rules.

ChrissyV729- Braveheart- this should totally have been on my list. I had zero expectations for it, and it blew me away. Almost makes you forget that Mel Gibson is a sexist Anti-Semite. Why didn't the fact that he called the woman cop in that incident 'Sugar Tits' get any press? Despite all that, this is one of the best movies EVER. And I LOVE Wedding Crashers.

Utterhappiness takes 2nd place also with Center Stage. But I'll admit, I sat through it once, and was totally entertained. Bitchy dancers. Again, you can't beat it. I love Chorus Line. Can the adults please smoke??? Love that movie. But I LOVE ARMAGEDDON!!! WHY??? I love that movie like no one's business, and I can't figure out why. Let's drill this *****. And of course, Silence of the Lambs.

So this is now a top 27 list. And I'm sitting here watching an Old School DVD, and just saw that Braveheart is on A & E!! What do I do???

Armageddon ...i think it is either bc ben affleck OR bc Bruce Willis looks incredibly sexy when he dies for his daughters happiness... getting chills now! Also.. I fing the guy that plays 'Bear' to be adorable! ...but then again I also find Tony Soprano hot... my taste is a mess... you should see my top 10 celeb list.. you would freak at the randomness
