At my bridal shower over the weekend my fmil was highly insulted because my moh got a cake with my baby picture on it.... it was a woman only shower so my moh figured it was a shower for me, it was my day...... so my fmil tells her it is not a bridal shower it is a wedding shower and that we wouldnt be there if it wasnt for her son.... am I chop liver??? And the invites said Bridal shower, hence they were showering the bride.....

100% Serious His mother drives me nuts... on the invites i had my fh without his last ame then son of.... and she didnt think that because how ould the guests know how to write out the checks..... she is a pita... people wonder why we waited until the day she moved to arizona to get engaged (LIterally, we drove her dog across country and were engaged the next day)

you can only imagine the issues.... i just keep reminding myslef that she is 3600 miles away and that there was a reason why we got engaged the day after she moved (literally, furniture was delivered on wednesday we were engaged on thursday) I think i will just send her invites to our childrens college graduation and be like.... you didnt know we had kids?! it would make like much easier
