Received a no response with a check. What do I do? Send a thank you now, or wait till after the wedding? Deposit it now? or wait?
What is the right thing to do?

When we received some, we deposited them and sent a thank you card and will also send a wedding thank you card after the wedding.

I had the same question. I got a no from a boss at my work and a check made out to only me not mr. and mrs. S______ So technically I could deposit it now but didn't know if I should.

we deposited them when we got them and we will be sending out a Thank You when we get our Thank you pictures/card

I would send a thank you card now-generic one if the wedding isn't for awhile and then send out a second picture ty if thats what you intend to do. Or just send them a wedding announcement.

I would deposit the check now so that they don't have a problem rectifying their checking account. I received a check from people who aren't even attending the wedding this past Sunday and I'm planning to send a thank you after the wedding. They gave us the check in person so we were able to thank them face to face, but I still think a formal thank you note is appropriate.

We deposited the check and sent them a thank you note. We plan on sending them our formal thank you card after the wedding as well.

We deposited it right away and sent a thank you on our stationary so we prob wont send another after the wedding

We received cash & the gravy boat from people who couldn't attend our wedding. We sent those people thank you cards right away and will send them a more formal thank you after the wedding. As far as the check is concerned you should deposit it right away, because checks are only good for a certain number of days after the issuing date and an outstanding check can mess up someone's checkbook (I have had that happen to me).

I've gotten a few, so I just deposited them into our joint account.
Bad girl, i have to send out TY's for them. I ordered some plain TYs that match our invite, so I will use those. No photo TY later.
