Ok- so I have called every vendor listed on liweddings for makeup in the past 2 weeks and i have only gotten a call back from 2! Idont understand how these people run businesses.....

you seem to have a pretty popular date. it is possible that these vendors are already booked up. if you emailed jenn the hair genie and oksana, they take a while to get back to you, but they will.

yes she's quick to respond to e-mail.
I've learned vendors in general, are all about e-mail or are terrified to touch the keyboard

That is a bad business not to return phone calls or emails. Even if they are busy on your day, if they are nice enough they get your friends' business. A lot of this stuff is word of mouth and they are not looking good!

ive seen girls in the past post about popular vendors and sometimes they can take a little while to respond but they will respond.
The same way you email for quotes and asking for trials so do MANY other girls, plus girls already booked with them will email to ask a bunch of questions, weddings coming up soon have to email to confirm details. So if they're real busy all week, they might not be able to respond to all the emails at once, they might even have lets say 100 emails they have to respond to and maybe yours is towards the bottom. Its the busiest time of the year for weddings so im sure they will respond to you.

My make-up people told me that they rarely pick up their phone or they would never get work done. Perhaps you need to try e-mail.

Okay- i tried email as well as phone calls. Marie Katz was one of the two who called back but she is already booked:( I just booked a trail with Pat Craig today- has anybody heard of her?
