getting annoyed now ....

FH applied for a new passport back in February ... 2 months later (at the end of March), he STILL hadn't gotten it. He called the passport people and they said it had just shipped 'yesterday' ... well a month later, it still hadn't gotten to us.

He called again and was told that another passport will be made and sent. Well, that was 2 months ago and he's still passport-less! FH called them yet again yesterday and was told it had 'just shipped' but i think they're just lying to us!

This is getting REALLY annoying ... but i'm glad he applied early enough for us to have time to deal with this stupidity.

we had to write to get FH a copy of his birth certificate.

he also applied for this in february.

still not here.

we haven't picked our honeymoon place yet so i'm not sure if he will need a passport...

That happened to my mom a couple years ago and she wound up calling her local congressman and he made some calls. She got her passport the following week.

Just something to keep in mind!

Oh wow- that's really annoying

I went through this a few years ago. I harassed them everyday for a solid month before it got there- the DAY before the trip I was set to go on, mind you.

I'd call again and ask for a tracking number- pay extra for it if you have to!

no, we didn't think we had to since it was supposed to be 6-8 weeks total and we had 6 MONTHS at that point

i'm going to try calling them again and again and again till the day i get it.
