Getting back on track!

Getting back on track!

I have finally gotten disgusted enough with myself and scared to death that I'm going to look like a pig at my own wedding, so I started back on WW yesterday and went to the gym today. I gained a lot of weight over the last few months (about 15 pounds) and 5 just this weekend! So I started counting my points again yesterday and drank a ton of water and woke up this morning and weighed myself (I know, I KNOW, I shouldn't have), and was down 4 pounds. I knew that the weight I gained over the weekend was not a real gain and that I just sort of had to flush it out of me, and I wasn't wrong. Gotta love friggen water weight!

I have resolved to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I plan on going Tues., Wed., and Thurs. and if I can swing it, one day on the weekend. Mondays and Fridays are simply unrealistic for me and I need to stay realistic in order to succeed at this.

So if anyone is just starting out again and wants to help each other out and maybe post our weekly goals, achievements, frustrations, etc., I'm game! This is not an easy thing to do and no one should have to do it alone (wow, do I sound cheesy or what? ).

OK, well from your pictures, I'd say that you look nothing like a fat pig, but I hear what you're saying. I'm here for whatever help you need. The gym was horribly packed yesterday (all the New Year resolutioners) which made it difficult for me to do much weight training and muscle targeting, but I did do 30 minutes on the bike at a relatively moderate pace. I figure anything is better than nothing and, for me, dieting is the main thing. The exercise will help, but I've always lost the weight before without it, so I know that it's a matter of just watching what I shove down my throat.

Let me know how I can help!
