getting birth certificate in NYC for marriage license
I have to go tomorrow morning to get my certified copy of my birth certificate in downtown NYC...on Worth St. Has anyone recently been through this process? I'd like to hear how it went. They say I will get the birth certificate the same day...while I wait there. I'd love to hear others experiences and/or advice. Thanks!

I have never been thru this process but I can tell u this about NYC Agencies/Offices: Be patient and be calm.

Please let me know how it goes...my dog ate mine....no really she did. I just have a little corner piece left! Thank God shes cute!!!

I had to get my BC when I went, not NYC but I did get it the same day in a couple of minutes

I went down in NYC the same place you are asking about. It is a very long line but it moves quick you will be fine.
