Getting Dressed Pressed?

Did anyone not get their dress pressed beforehand?

My dress has been hanging in my closet for a LONG time (alterations are done)...and I guess the weight of the dress pulled out any wrinkles that were in it and it looks perfect as is. Do I still need to press it or will I be ok with a hand steamer the day of if I find any wrinkles??
