I have three girls who could not be more different. One is a religious conservative, another is a hippy liberal. Anything I get one, the other won't want. Should I just get three completely different gifts? Imagine if Charlotte from Sex in the City was in the same bridal party as a Dead head.

but I think it's fine to get them different gifts; there's no point in giving someone a gift they'll dislike. maybe you could give them each some DOJ (if it's something you want to match/if it's something you think they'll all be ok with) and then another gift (3 diff ones) that's more useful for each person on an everyday basis. doesn't have to be something for your wedding

I think getting personal gifts is a great idea so long as they're even and I don't just mean in price.
If you find a gift that is perfect for Friend A, make sure not to get a generic gift for Friend B.

i agree, its a great idea my girls aren't sooo diff but i am prob gonna try and get them each something unique to them as far as the jewelry so that there is an ounce of hope that they will re-wear LOL!

I have a similar problem in my bridal party. I was thinking of getting them different versions of the same thing (like, different styles of clutch, or different necklaces all with a common feature/stone, etc)... I love the idea of everything being unique and personalized but with some common thread carried through. :)

I was thinking of doing something similiar to this
I think it's fine to get different gifts.. It's great that you're so attentive to what they like/dislike.

I just found this and thought of your post... it's custom-designed clutch purses, with 300 fabric choices! It seems like with 300 choices you should be able to find something for everyone's quirky sense of style!
