Getting Freinds Ordained

Hi there. Has anyone gotten a family member/friend ordained to perform marriage ceremony. PLease let me know if there are ways to do this and what NY State says about it. Thanks :)

Anyone can be ordained through the Universal Life Church

Unusual... but legal as far as I understand.

these are approved for NYS, but there are some restrictions Check out the NYS Domestic Relations Law Article 3 Section 11...
