I am working on a DIY project, and I need a bunch of different saying that mean 'getting married.'
Ya know: getting hitched, tying the knot, ....but i am sure there are tons of other sayings I cant think of...
help.

that's good. what else? i was thinking of the 'ball and chain' thing too...but i dont know what the verb of that would be without sounding really bad and saying locked up. :(
fun stuff is good. i like taking the plunge :)
even popular quotes may work. I think I am going to use 'going to the chapel and we're gonna get married'....

Nice - FH just said 'Donning the ball and chain' - and 'biting the bullet' - lovely.
