my wed date is 8.8.08 and it was not planned this way. ive been engaged for 2yrs and we happend to want to get married on a friday (to save money) and wanted the month of august....
we met with the priest and as we both sign our names in we then realized it (2yrs ago) '
i wanted to know what if is everyone so call theme for their wedding on this day
my so far mine is a very soft, pale look cream and white flowers white linens white on white chair covers candles, rose petals etc and my girls are wearing black...
my dress is in all diamond white and im still not sure which dress for the girls ....

do you guys think if i have my table cloth white chairs white w a white silky bow and white and yellow rose petals white candles with cream and white ans some yellow snap dragons w some white ones too would be too much ... umm white ... lol every one told me to picture what is a wedding to me i think im just thinking too much

Welcome! I'm glad you found this website too! It has been very helpful and all the women are so nice and helpful!!! Aww you are getting the married the day before I got engaged! I like both dresses but like you said the first one might be better since you are getting married in august. Is it a daytime wedding or night? If it's night you might be able to use the longer dress.

I'm am 8/8/08 bride. My colors are green and pink. Our favorite number is 8 so our choice was simple!!! No major theme except for green. Were getting married at the ICP, table names are Irish whiskeys, and my girls are wearing green. Everything will be accented with pink. Welcome and best of luck in your planning!!! yeahhh another 8.8.08 bride
my FH (picking up the slang) is 1/2 german and 1/2 irish he tried to have our save the date magnets in green... lol - tho, green is my fav color... i really pictured creams and pale colors for mine .your accent color will look really nice!!
my ceromony is at 5:30 and reception at 6:30 some ppl tell me the shorter one and some ppl say the longer one... (ohh yea the rear of the longer one also bussels up too) im still undecided ::

It took 4 trips to the bridal store for me to get the BM dresses right!!! I only have 1 MOH and 1 BM.....
i have seen ummm well lets just say no one has tried it on ... the dress store carried a size 6 and the biggest a 12 2 of 4 girls went w me and one was a size -0 and the other was a 14+ so my mother ended up trying it for them and they both loved the longer one (so did i)
but now when im like ok ppl lets get together so we can order em they are like ohh well isnt it gonna be like 1 thousand degrees .... sooo yea idk

Is your place air conditioned???
My 2 girls said that a few times when we went to try on dresses. If your reception is outside ony, then maybe the shorter one is better. But if they are only going to be outside for say an hour the most....then tell them it's your wedding!!!!!!! Remember the bride is always right!!!!!

i think 8/8/08 since have to do with infinity since 8 sideways is the symbol for infinity. 'Infinite Love' your them could have to do with circles since they to have no end and no beginning (ie. the wedding band)

p.s. regarding the dress for your BMs (bridemaids) i'd go with the tea length one since it is in the middle of the summer.
