When are you registering? Have you done so already? (If so, are you scared better versions of something you already registered for will come out, therefore ready to pounce and update it, lol)
I keep going back and forth on when to register...for example for our 08' Brides Shower, I said I am registering at Macy*s but haven't done it, so I wonder where other girls are on this~

I'm getting married in september and I already registered. We plan on doing a heavy duty registry at fortunoffs after january. Right now we just registered for a few things

I already registered too....I had my e-party and my sister suggested to just register in case people wanted to buy gifts... I think the really ONLY thing that I might change is my everyday china...I might want something different if a new design comes out and I like it better...but right now I am good with it

I started a registry with Target but barely. I think I'll finalize registries by March? Don't know what to do either. I figure my shower will be in the summer some time so maybe I'll finalize it by May. I think registering now and adding on as the months go by is fine.

I am going to register in Jan. We didn't register for our E-party as we wanted $$, which is mostly what we got. The reason I figure Jan, is it gives me something to look forward to.....

i update frequently, as a matter of fact im renovating my kitchen and putting in new cabinets., now all the stainless stell appliances that I chose will not go., so now im changing stuff to white.

I am getting married October 08 and I think I am going to wait until January to register. You dont want to register too early because things can become discontinued and then you will have to change everything. I think it is better to wait this way you know they will have what you are registering for.

ok i am jan 08 but i am a rebel and answering anyway!!
i registered about TWO YEARS before the wedding LOL seriously, i did it all online
everyone told me it was dumb, that things would get discontinued etc.
well of over 100 items on the registry. . . i had to change THREE things. . .and they were minor changes like they stopped making a color or had an updated model
so i am glad i did it on my time, a little at a time, early and without feeling rushed

I guess it all depends...
Im going to register closer to the wedding, ive heard horror stories of people registering at places like 18-20 months out and they get part of their registry as gifts for the E-party and then by the time the bridal shower happens patterns are discountinued and you cant complete the sets... It happened to a friend at work.

this is happeneing to my friend right now with fortunoff's...she is getting married this nov and she registered in jan...and tons of stuff got discontinued on her registry...its better to wait until a couple of months before you think your shower will be....
