Getting married anywhere else besides vegas

We are planning on getting married in Vegas in June and as most of you know we moved the big wedding to June of 2007 but last night I was thinking about it and I'd really like to look into getting married on a beach somewhere. Any ideas we can only go away for a weekend. I looked up Bermuda and it says there is a 14 day waiting period. Any help would be appreciated

how about mexico in the mayan riviera. that is where we are doing our renewal.

Our honeymoon hotel in Aruba does them and they showed photos in the hotel daily paper and it really looked beautiful! Check it out:

A lot of the all inclusive resorts give 'free weddings' if you stay for a certain period of time. I'd look into that, and I think in parts of trhe caribben there's less paperwork, etc.

check out the destination weddings section on the knot - it tells you a lot of the waiting periods and requirements by country - may help you narrow down to certain regions in the caribean

FH and I are looking into Key West --- renting a house there is very affordable, and it'll give the family a place to stay!

Plus, it's still in the USA -- no waiting period like Bermuda.

Our friends got married at Breezes Runaway Bay, Jamaica. We all went and had such an awesome time!

Thanks for the info. It will just be the two of us. We can only get away for the weekend and alot of places you have to be there for a week before you can get married. So Im trying to find somewhere that is no more than a 24hour wait.
