So all of you ladies getting married while going to school--- what I mean by this is your wedding is during a school semester (Sept. Oct. March, Feb.)
what are you doing- are you going on your honeymoon right after or are you waiting until a school break
I am thinking of changing my date and maybe do labor day weekend or columbus day weekend cause i am not too fond of August of 08 for some reason...but i dont want to miss school to go on our honeymoon right after we are married
I will be getting my masters so I feel like I should miss it...especially if I am student teaching at that time (or are they flexible??)

IMO thats why any date we picked woudl be after i graduated....
my graduate program is NO way flexable.. and i dont want to put of school half way through for a wedding.. its not worth it in the end JMO
but if you want to get married and have your HM after, that could work also. maybe a little weekend get away the weekend of ur wedding.

I was very against getting married one weekend and going back to classes that Monday. Unfortunately FH had very poor timing when it came to proposing, I had JUST started school, literally 2 weeks into it. That is why our engagement is so long, I graduate May 08 and I'll be getting married Sept 08

yeah i completely understand i dont think it is worth it in the end to do it in the middle of school and miss it...i am sure the program i am applying for it not flexible either...
but i guess i will have to discuss to FH what he wants to do about the honeymoon and go from there as in regard to switching the date to a year earlier...

I got you...yes I will be graduating this May with my BA in Psych but I am going for my Masters in Education and most likely wont end (if i do it in 2 years) until May of 09 2 weeks before we plan on getting married...
so it helps cause i will be finished and we can go on our honeymoon right after....but we were talking about ti last night and thinking of maybe moving it up....but i dont want it in a month that i am not happy with just to move it up...

i know and sept is both our parents anniversary so it would be nice- but we would have to wait to have our honeymoon then (cause i mean Sept of 08 sorry if i didnt state that) lol and i wont be out of grad school by then

FH and I work in schools... does that count?
we're getting married Memorial Day weekend, but we'll probably take out honeymoon at the end of June.

I am taking off that semester from school. I am going to take like a 1 credit course just to take something. I started my masters program early so I can take my time finishing it. I am still going on my honeymood in July because of work. The week before I get married all the schools have off for spring break that year so I got really lucky.

Same thing with me. I had just started nursing school when FH proposed. I'll graduate in Dec. of '07 but then I'll be in a 6 month new graduate nursing program with my hospital. So I'll be all done with that in July'08 so we are getting married in October '08.
