getting measured????

The first time I was measured at Curves the woman was pulling the tape measure tight around me... all parts. I was wondering if this is the way she is supposed to take measurements or if they are supposed to wrap it around but not pull tight.

Im worried that when I get measured again with a different person they are going to do it differently and Im going to get the wrong measurements.

When I take my own measurements, I never pull it tight (though I'd like to, it's the easiest way of losing inches that I know. )
Maybe that's just how they do it there? If the next person who measures you does it differently, mention it to them.
