I stalk the 09 boards all the time and after reading all of the rsvp nightmares I started thinking about whether or not I made the right decision to have the wedding on a Thursday. I think I might get a lot of No's because of that and to make it worst it ends at 1:30am. I'm scared now.

Dont worry about it...people will show up. I have gone to weddings on thursdays and everyone has shown up. People love weddings!!!

Don't worry! People will show up! Have you sent out STD's? If people know in advance that it's a Thursday, that may calm your nerves a little.

i do the same thing too cause mine is a sunday night... im like ahh nobodys going to come and they are all going to leave early!!
... and then my sister tells me to shut up because everyone will be there lol... so don't worry, the people who love you will come

Don't worry about having it on a Thursday. I'm glad mine is on a Thursday! I haven't heard much BS about it from family and I think we are going end up having TOO MANY people at our wedding! If you haven't already sent out STD's, I definitely suggest putting Thursday on it. And also....1:30 will be a little late for alot of people to stay on a Thursday night probably so don't get upset if people leave early if they have work the next morning. I think you will have a great turnout

ppl wont rsvp no matter what day of the week you're getting married so no worries!! im sending my std's out mid september, so there should be no suprises to my guests

I'm sending mine out in 2 weeks. I regret not putting 'Thursday' on them though. I think I should have.

Don't worry about not putting Thursday down. People can look at a calender themselves. And I totally agree with all the other ladies, people will go to a wedding no matter what day it is...
