Getting nervous...

Getting nervous...

I see at LEAST 2 of you Camelot brides had AC issues with the Infinity...

Anyone else?

I want to address the issue before I pay my balance in full... this is not the reputation upon which I made my decision to book. And now they're booking to capacity so they don't have cars to replace if something goes wrong, so what if something worse than the AC breaks down? IT happens, right?

I called to find out about taking a stretch to AC a week before my bach party and he was booked, nothing available... so I'm nervous about something happening and not having an alternative.

Re: Getting nervous...

yup...It was in Bride2011's review and Chanwich had a problem. Infinity truck AC crapped out on both of them. The driver was able to fix it for Bride 2011 but not for Chanwich and they didn't have another car available for her. She paid in full beforehand and they didn't offer a refund, only a free pick up and drop off for the hm.

we had a completely different situation where we had issues w/ our limo, not the infiti, the escalade, and we paid in full before and only got a free pickup and drop for the HM which is a whole another story

That stinks Evita. How did they handle your complaint, were they nice about it?

the girls were very nice about it when i called the next day but the damage has been done and i wanted $ back... BUT apparently i should've said something instead of accepting the free dropoff and pickup.

i don't want to get into too much detail bc i plan on writing a review about this entire situation but i felt like this could've been handled better. My DH who is always try to rationalize things was even beyond angry with this situation.

i just hope for your sake, nothing goes wrong.

my lips are not sealed about this situation and i intend on writing every single fact that happened

FYI, i would like to say also that i think that camelot is still a good company. we were very happy w/ our Phantom - it was our escalade in which the BP had to sit in was the bad thing and how it was handled afterwards...plus more

Re: Getting nervous...

Sorry Evita!!! I'm mad for you!! I can't wait to read what happened. Camelot has nothing but good reviews and it was hard to believe that we couldn't find a single negative thing about them... FH almost didn't want to book because he couldn't believe it. It'll be good for future brides to see... no vendor is perfect. I'm sorry it happened to you though!

exactly why we booked w/ them! i couldn't believe it happened to us and there i was last year telling DH about them and we have nothing to worry about. That plus the weather were our only problems!

Just make sure to handle the situation ASAP if anything goes wrong

They told me the same thing, the driver even said he had checked it. I find it hard to believe since the first 5 min we were in the infinit we noticed how hot it was and that the air it was blowing was warm

Re: Getting nervous...

I'm sorry you girls have had problems with your limos. I used Camelot for my wedding and had no problems. Instead of talking to the girls there, maybe you should talk to Joe himself.

Maybe by the time your wedding is here, it won't be hot!
JLWSJC Posted:

Re: Getting nervous...

I know in a month it *might* not be hot... but it *might* also be VERY hot. My mom got married on 9/16 and she said she'll never forget how hot it was that day... in the nineties. I'd rather not have to worry about if it's going to be hot in the limo or not, I'm spending thousands on limos, I want everything to work properly and I don't want to be surprised the day of.

I'm really nervous to hear these stories, but I'm talking to the girls here because I wanted to know if it was a couple of isolated incidents or a string of problems. Same AC, same car, seems to be an issue and I want ammo before I call to tell Joe that everything better be working on the day of and before I pay off my balance.

Re: Getting nervous...

That is kind of crazy and would make me nervous as well.

Even if it's not hot outside in your dress and everything you might be and should be comfortable
