Getting nervous about my gown...

Well, I've only gone shopping for my gown once and I can just tell this is going to be difficult. I am so indecisive. But I suddenly feel like I'm running out of time. I'm hearing bridal gowns take 8-10 months to come in and my wedding is exactly 10 months away!!

I have another shopping trip scheduled for the day after Christmas with my mom in Fla but I'm thinking I should try to get my butt to a shop sooner than that. This is weird and I guess it's probably because my mom is not around to go with me but I don't feel much motivation to go gown shopping!! I don't know about shopping alone... I might like it better but maybe not. You would think I would be running to bridal shops but I was actually relieved we had so much snow last weekend because it gave me a good excuse NOT to go!!

It's weird, but I almost feel like I 'shouldn't' be shopping for a wedding dress! I even feel weird about asking my MOH to come with me! Anyone one else get like this? Should I just stop thinking about it so much and just get my butt to a salon? I can't believe I'm actually nervous about this!

Get your butt in the bridal store GIRL!!! lol.. well, like Pale bride said her dress took 8 months.. I would definately look... Don't feel like you shouldn't be looking. HAVE FUN.. it's such a blast, trying on all those gowns.. You'l find the ONE.. once you put it on you truly will know.. GOOD LUCK

Get started looking for that gown. Call your MOH & anyone else you may want to bring & make a nice day of it. Have fun trying on gowns then go have some lunch or do something else fun & relaxing. I live in FL part of the year & they do not have the # of bridal shops down there like we do here. Definately keep that date with your mom; it will be a fun day for you both but you can't expect to find your gown in FL. Good luck. You deserve to have a great time doing this.

Yeah you got to go. Why not ask a friend to go with you!

Don't worry, it took me nearly 2 months to find mine. Try to go with someone so you have another opinion. Good Luck!

I know how you feel about your mom not being around and going dress shopping. It's harder to think about it than it is to actually do. I asked the women who are dear in my life to go and they were honored. I'm sure whoever you ask will feel the same.
