I just had to share that I feel like I'm getting married all over again with The Wedding Story airing in about an hour!! Pray that I didn't make an a$$ of myself!!
You guys will have to let me know what you think when it's over!!

Unless someone took creative license with the show and added 'scenes' of NY. Or, there were video's/pictures of them from prior to September 2001 that would show the towers. This is the only thing I can think of.

In any case I am sick of this being done. If Friends hasn't edited out all of their shots of the the Twin Towers, why would a show like A Wedding Story have to? So aggravating. It's like let's just pretend they never existed. Arghghg.

I think they chose her and her husband to be on AWC to begin with because he is a police officer (I think?) and he worked in the aftermath of the WTC. Maybe they wanted to edit out any scenes of the workers there? I dunno.

Misty I just said the same thing to my FI. I called him to set up the VCR for me as I forgot and I said to him if Friends hasnt edited out the twin towers and law and order hasnt then why would AWS do this. and notice it 20 minutes before its going to air???

Shamma: apparently Shannon was to be on AWS. but for some reason it was pulled 20 minutes before it was to air and they didnt call her.

now we point out the obvious:
she got married Oct 2002 (how would the twin towers be in her wedding story)

it was pulled 20 minutes before it was to air, and they didnt call, how does she know the exact reason and time it happened.

on the tv guide on digital it has someone elses name (i called FI to stop the VCR) and 20 minutes is not enough time to change the tv guide info.

on my digital cable, it says Shannon and Jeremian 2:00-2:30. That's not who was on.

I checked TV Guide.com this morning and it was supposed to be Shannon and Jeremian 2:00-2:30. So it looks like there were schedualed to air, and last minute it was changed

Ok, here is what happened. My DH is NYPD and was involved with the attacks on 9/11. He was down at ground zero for weeks after 9/11 working in the rubble. We also got engaged shortly after 9/11 b/c of the attacks. Part of the reason they picked us to be on the show was b/c they were doing shows dealing w/ 'American Heros' and we fit the image. Anyway, I was told to give them pictures of DH down at ground zero. He had very vivid pictures of the reckage and of him and his other cops down there. They were to be shown during the show. It wasn't actual shots of the twin towers, it was the aftermath. I honestly have no clue why that would get it pulled and why no one realized this or had the decency to let us know, but I guess they have their reasons. And our names were listed on the guide(digital tv) and on their website as airing today. Sorry if I inconvienced anyone! I'm kinda bummed!!

I'm sorry it didn't air, my cable went out so thought I missed it! Altho there were no pictures, the 2:30 AWS was centered on a DC couple who made constant references to the Pentagon disaster, even her gift to MOH was like a pendant in the image of it or something like that so dunno why they let that air. Oh well please let us know when it reairs cuz I'd like to catch it! :)
