Getting organized

Hey girls,

So I was wondering what you ladies are doing to keep organized and to make sure you don't forget anything. So far I have a notebook that I am just writing random thoughts and ideas in and I also have a folder for each vendor that we have booked with the contracts and stuff in them. I really want to start writing out a budget. Do any of you use the budget calculator on here? I have two of those wedding binders that I got as engagement gifts but they are a little overwhelming for me. Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be great :)

Getting organized - Long Island Weddings

I have a big binder that I just created myself with tabs and plastic inserts to keep everything organized..I typed up my guest list and added extra blank boxes to add anyone we think of...I also started printing pictures of things that I really like..I have a lot of stuff on pinterest but I know if I don't print it I will probably forget about it lol.. I created a table on word of each of the things that have been bought and what else needs to be bought and who is paying for what....I haven't tried using the budget calculator yet... I know there is an app for phones for a wedding budget calculator. My friend loves it, she can just pull it up whenever she needs to.

I need to start getting organized as things will start to get confusing. I am infamous for 'snap shots' of anything wedding related & then created albums on my iPad & organized them by categories. I know I am not much help!

this is me too! I. screen shot everything in my phone and I. have a special wedding album.
I do have a notepad too and a folder but I feel like I just keep song to the list not crossing off!

I don't have much collected yet, with the exception of inspiration but I am using an accordion folder from staples. It has just enough sections in it for wedding planning and it's easy to keep everything organized in it.

Oh my goodness, I consider myself a very organized person...I just feel calmer when I have some kind of structure goin on in my life. Wedding planning has tested my organizational skills to the max! I had papers and folders and books everywhere!! I bought a binder from Michaels and I am planning to sit down within the next two weeks and consolidate everything lol.

I think this weekend I am going to try and consolidate everything into sections in one of my binders because I have too many folders and we don't even have everything booked lol I also have snap shots and a wedding board on pinterest full of ideas! I have to print things so I don't forget!!
