Getting over the Newbie Shyness

So, I posted on BHB and I think that the time has come to introduce myself. I'm Carol and I'm getting married to my wonderful fiance, Kevin, in March. We met in college, but only started dating once we were back in the same time zone (longish story).
I'll admit that I have been reading, but not posting much. The time has come to move past my shyness and introduce myself to my fellow 08 brides. And I must say thank you , since reading the posts has helped me many times already.

So as for the time zone. . . Kevin and I went to college together. He went to Scotland for his junior year, I moved to Boston. I moved to Houston, he moved to New York and finally we both ended up back in NYC. I guess that it wasn't such a long story .
