2 and ahalf weeks...i know i have a great vacation...teachers are very lucky...on the flip side it is one of the few professions that takes their work home with them...when you leave work as a teacher, yo ustill have work to do at home...not too many other careers have that.

i start student teaching in 2.5 weeks!!!! im so excited!!!! i only did part time student teaching last semester, but its full time this semester!

By the way, if you LOVED student teaching you will be in heaven when you have your own classroom! It is so much better!

im doing 3rd grade for the first half of the semester, and fourth grade for the second half. ... i did 4th grade all of last semester and i LOVED it... they are so impressionable at that age and it was just so amazing to see them progress throughout the semester... it truly was amazing.

I know you guys (teachers) take home work to do but man am I jealous of your vacations and time off!!! Even when I have a day off I am on call and believe me, ANYTHING can happen when you are dealing with over 100 mentally ill people with substance abuse problems. I need a career change!

hahaha i bet...i had this argument witht he future inlaws...they always make comments about Brad and I having time off...my response to them is 'It's not my fault you didn't decide to be a teacher..' that usually shuts them up! lol
