Are you/did you get your girls shirts to get ready in? Robes or over-sized oxford shirts or anything? Where did you get them? I know I want something, but I just can't decide. I don't really like some of the robes I've seen.

Getting ready shirts
im getting button down shirts, cause it will be hard getting out of a reg t shirt when your hair and makeup is done, saying 'bridesmaid' and 'made of honor, Etsy has reasonable prices and big selection

It's a good thing I am not (not all of them are getting ready with me) because I would be stumped too.

Getting ready shirts
i got oversized oxford shirts on etsy and LOVE them! Got an amazing price too and she even gave me a monogrammed cosmetic case as a gift- she was so nice!
I am planning on ordering robes from Wedding Prep Gals. They look nice, so I'm hoping they're actually as nice in person!

Re: Getting ready shirts
Ib think I'm getting these towel wraps instead of a robe or shirt. One they are a little more cost effective and I think these would get used more. Then im just going to iron on their initial on the pocket. Here is he websitetowel wrap

I bought zip-up hoodies in navy (wedding color) from Walmart online then got adhesive crystal letters for their first initial. The girls loved them, got ready in them, and still wear them all the time.

I'd prefer a shirt or hoodie over a towel or robe personally since you can wear pants lol. Usually there's photos being taken as you get ready and I don't think my bridal party would be comfortable having pictures taken in a towel lol. Neither would I since I'm plus size and I'm not sure it would cover me up!

Couldn't agree more! I think a towel is absolutely not a contender for me personally (I don't want to be wearing only a towel in front of my FMIL, photographer, videographer, etc. I'd be mortified if I was in a bridal party and the bride told me I had to wear a towel wrap while doing hair and makeup). I was strongly considering a robe, but I also wanted to make an early morning Starbucks run with my MOH, so I think a monogrammed shirt or hoodie would be my choice.

yes he does amazing work.. I bought the zip up hoodies from Hanes.com and he put their names on it... I didn't do bridesmaid or any saying so that they can wear after the big day. Also being a big chested woman with a few in m party I didn't feel comfortable in a robe and towels seems awkward with a photographer and his crew their. I love the hoodie idea bc they can up zip and no one messes their hair or makeup up . Could always wear a spaghetti strap tank underneath that they can slip down..
