Is anyone else getting nervous about the time it will take to get ready? I am a Sunday wedding out east and my bridal party is planning to come that morning...we are Jewish, so we take pics before the wedding and I am panicking about the time. This hair person said that if I have 8 people, she will have to start at 6 am! I cant ask my bridal party to be there at 6 am...I am kind of panicking about the time and being able to be ready on time and also have time for pics, rehearsal and the ketubah signing...any tips? advice???

well are you dead set on your BMs getting their hair done by the same person? Maybe you can have them make their own appts at their own hair place and give them a time that they have to be at your house. That way your hair person can get started on your hair later than 6am and no one will feel rushed (especially your hairstylist).

maybe not have everyone show up at 6... draw straws and see who should show up first and then the rest of the girls can slowly come in afterwards. i'm sure they aren't working on all of you at the same time.

yeah...the problem is that it's a Sunday so a lot of salons arent opened and it's prob an hour drive for them to to get there and if they have to arrive between 10 and 11 am let's say, they would have to find a salon that opens at 8 am so they can get there in enough time. My one friend said she can use her aunt and cousin who do hair and makeuip which is fine and saves her money, but then I hope she isnt late. I have two months to go and I keep waking up nervous about everything!! AHHHH!!!

Does your hair person have an assistant that can help her so more than one person can get thier hair done at a time. Can they get their hair preped the night before?

yeah i will have her bring an assistant. the money is the other issue. she wants to charge everyone $100 which i feel like is a lot for people who just want blow outs. What is everyone else getting charged for their bridesmaids?

ye i do think 100 is alot for BM. I think 85 is the most id ask Bm's to pay IMO

I think the most I've paid as a BM for my hair was $85 (and that was for an updo). If I just did a blowout or something simple is was more like $65.

Yeah that is a lot of money for blowouts, especially since she's doing all the BMs. I know when I go to the salon they charge me $50 for a blowout so I wouldn't pay more than $75 for her to come to my house to do it. JIMO.
