Between me and my brother my mother is ready to kill us with all the paperbacks we have in her basement! Is there anyplace to donate them....do you think libraries would take them. I really don't care about making money on them... we just need to get rid of them taking up so much space!

I'm not sure if librarys will take them, but I know that most hospitals and nursing homes will.

Ive given books to the library in the past, and theyve taken them, but I love the idea of a hospital or nursing home!

If you still want to give away those books, my assocation NAIW-NYC (www.naiwnyc.org) is taking donations of books to present to the Sanctuary for Families - a family charity organization (www.sanctuaryforfamilies.org)
If you're in the city you can drop them off to them, or if you're in the Island we can pick them up.
