do any of you girls know of a jewelry store that will polish your ring while you wait? My ring is platinum and after being engaged for almost 2 years it has definitely developed at patina. I'd like to get it polished before the wedding but I also dont want to leave it anywhere.

I would call around. Alot of jewelery stores sell jewelery but you have to see when the actual 'jeweler' is in to do the work. If the jeweler is in they can have it done in a day...

LIW has made me paranoid about them switching the diamond. And since FH bought it from blue nile, i cant exactly take it to them.
i will have to try calling around.

My ring is from blue nile also - trust me they don't have it long enough to switch the diamond. I would ask around friends and family - look for a jeweler that you trust...

u can take it to pretty much any jewelry store (ex. jareds or kay) and they'll polish it there for u for free. maybe just act like ur lookin at wedding bands while u wait lol

you can stop by most places and just get it polished. i just did it at kay the other day.

I know they'll clean your ring for free, Ive had that done, but they actual polishing kay's told me it was $50 and I had to leave the ring and come back.

my jeweler in tri countys jewelery exchange upstairs lets you go with ur ring to get it polished or redipped...

yesterday i got it done there-The guy told me never to leave my ring alone-sooo i sat in a little back room with the jeweler who cleaned it and dipped it. I actually decided against a ring at that jeweler so I had credit there bc he said his credit card machine was down so he couldnt refund my deposit. he charged 25 to do it
