About getting the call that my dress is in. I know I still have some time (I think they said 3 months before) but I haven't seen it or tried it on since I ordered it back in June. Almost a year ago. I want to see it so badly!

I think I would have broken down and called already. . .shouldn't you have a dress in hand a year after you ordered it? Maybe it's just because David's Bridal is super swifty with getting orders in, but I find it hard to believe that they don't have it in the store after 11 months.

Even though the order goes in a year early, I was told that the dresses are made in wedding date order. I honestly wouldn't want my dress sitting around at the bridal salon for months before I needed it. This wasn't a complaint that it's taking so long, I'm just excited to get the call and see my dress again.
