Getting stressed and its only the beginning................

This searching for RH's is getting really stressful as i dont have the time to go see so many. I work fulltime 9-5 mon-fri and i have two kids that attend daycare in which i have to pick them up at 6pm. My FH works crazy hrs and weekends so he cant go see any alone. This ***** :(((( Im looking for RH's that are within the 50-65pp price range, would you happen to know a few??

I can tell you that I was quoted around a $55pp for sunset harbour for a february wedding

Sounds like youre busy - brentwood country club and some other places have packages too where you pay a base price and includes flowers, photograpy and everything - you may want to look into that...

i see your wedding date is july and to be honest i think it will be very hard to find something in that range if you are not willing to change it to off peak

Thank you, my boss also recommended Swan Club and i looked at it on the website and assumed it was too expensive, its really nice :)) I will check them out

Going to visit RHs on the weekends has its benefits, if you can fit this into your schedule.
You get to visit them while an event is going on, so you can see the hall in that perspective which is always great. You can also see how far a RH is willing to go to get you to book, ie: if they have respect for the bride and groom getting married while you're visiting and don't show you around the whole hall, or if they just barge in on another wedding's events to show you everything.

I went there (to leonards) last week, and i like it but ive been looking and the mixed reviews and im alil skeptical. But its within my budget :)

we changed our dates because of the same thing...we're having over 300 guests and the costs were just getting too much for us. Shop around, you never know who will give you a great deal

Mediteranean Manor in Patchogue, Brentwood Country Club, possibly Timberpoint CC if you change your date and the Thatched Cottage in their small room.

I know its not ideal but you can also wait till a couple of months before a specific date and call around. My one friend got 45 dollars pp doing that. People cancel or they don't book and then the halls are more apt to be less expensive.

This is so true that is why we decided not to book on particular RH..we went on a weekday and they were having wedding and they told us just to stick our head in...we looked at each other & told them no thanks..if we considered them we would come back

Yep I would say Verdi's too!!! There food is sooo great and it is less expensive cause they don't have huge outdoors. I choose it cause my wedding is in March and who really wants to be outside in march.
