What documents are needed to get your marriage license? Nothing like waiting till the last minute (5 days to go!!!) Do we need SS card AND Birth Cert?? I know we need our drivers license or passport.

Just got ours...You need your license and birth certificates and $40 cash! Pretty simple process...Good luck!

We brought our licenses, passports and $40 cash. We couldn't find our birth certificates.

i only needed my drivers license but i got mine in brooklyn and a $35 money order

you need either your passport OR your original birth certificate AND your driver's license. the cost depends where you go. we went to islip town hall and it was 40 bucks cash.
