Got my contract today for the cigar roller...one less thing on my list!!!!!
Edited: So i just posted this and went to talk to my mom about thr deposit and what not and a thought came into my head! What if we spend the money on a variety of good quality cigars and make a little cigar bar and after dinner drinks table! We could make little tags describing the different varieties and place them around a table in glasses and canisters with personalized matchbooks and also hace the glasses for cognac and brandy on yhe table too...
My family and friends and FH really enjoy cigars so why not put the money towards that!

It depends on what you want but the one we found was like $950-$1,000 FH is from the bx and they have cigar rollers in the market in little italy and they had prices for weddings there.

i think that's a great idea - esp if your family enjoys cigars - but if it's only a limited few, then maybe consider just regular cigar b/c some people might not even appreciate it and you can spend your $ elsewhere

i like that idea too.
I just hate the idea that people wont be inside dancing.
how does the timing work on that?

Re: getting things doneeeee-edited!
i would just go with the cigar roller. my sister had one at her wedding and it was as packed as a beehive! everyone gravitated towards it since its not something you see all the time! people will still be able to have drinks with the cigars if they would like to and it snice seeing them being made

For my situation...I think I'd rather put the money towards a variety of different good cigars since Im im catering towards the cigar lovers (We have many). Plus after you see him roll one or 2, i feel like the appeal is over, plus I'm not even sure how good the cigars will be, and if noone likes them then im stuck with 100 yucky cigars! lol.

The table would come out after cake/dessert..when the party gets started lol...I know it will be all the men in my family and FH and his friends who would be dancing the whole night anyway... But I'm going to get smaller sized cigars to they can finish them up a little quicker and then come in a dance.
