Getting to know the new brides! Part 4

Why did you pick your wedding date?

For me its our anniversary of when we started dating. FH wanted that date because he didn't want to have to remember another anniversary. Also its a day before my 'parents' got married! Bonus!

We wanted a Friday in September & preferably in the beginning of the month (but not LDW) so that's how we wound up with September 7th!

We did not have a date that we were looking for. Originally we wanted a SAturday in May but when we realized the difference in price if we did a Friday in April we were sold!

We liked a particular room at Crest Hollow so we asked which Fridays in April it was available. They gave us the list. When FH realized that 4/20 was available he was sold!

It was the only Sat left at RH next summer. Not romantic but it worked out.

We knew we wanted a Friday in late summer early fall, but we didn't have a date that mattered the most to us. Crest Hollow gave us a list and Sept 7 just kind of stood out and we knew it'd be perfect.

I wanted to avoid fighting with football and instead I picked opening weekend! At least it's a Friday, but FH may miss the first day since we'll be on our HM!

It was literally one of the only dates left available at our RH for 2012. I originally wanted Sept, but both Sept and Oct were booked!

July 4th was the date we wanted at first but we figured July 3rd would be better bc no one would have work the next day and it would be alot cheaper without having to give up our theme :)

We wanted October. And we didn't want to be associated with Halloween (though a costumed wedding theme would have been awesome) or Columbus Day--so Oct 20th it was!

We chose our wedding because it was the last weekend before the prices go up into the business season.

I love the fall. So we went for a 3 day weekend so all the out of town family has a fri or sat to come in and then fly home monday.

We originally wanted it to be in mid/late October but we went with the beginning of November, it's 10 days from my birthday & I just love that month and fall!

I'm taking the bar exam in late July and *hopefully* starting a job in September, so we knew we had to book a date in August.

I choose a Sunday wedding and decided to do it on labor day weekend so everyone has off on Monday

Lol...similar situation. Not many Saturday nights left in the whole year 2012 when we were there. We had a choice between literally 5 or so Saturdays and the September one was the best!

It wasn't a special day in particular. Just happened to be the day they had available.

We knew we wanted 2 weeks for the honeymoon and it just so happened that this date gave us the 2 weeks before FH would have to start work in Sept.
