Getting upset

I feel like i'm getting more No rsvp's than i expected or wanted. I guess i just assumed that local people (non oot's) would be coming. And some people dont give explanations on the response card as to why they wont be there, they just check No. I'm a little sad.

I'm sorry. Umm, maybe all the ones that know they can't make it are letting you know early so that you can invite other people, whereas all the ones that can make it are sending their RSVPs soon....

I agree! Also, better to have less people than too many !! As long as you have FH, your BP & close friends and family- it will be great!!!

exactly how i feel! I'm actually hoping for like 30 nos, because we invited more than i want. I doubt I'll get that - I really wanted a small wedding though!

Oh no don't feel bad! I'm in the same boat and we are getting married on the same day! I invited 150 and for some reason i think only 85 are going to come. We have to guarentee 100! I got a few unexpected no's so far too. They're coming in slowwwwwly! I'm hoping for 100!

I'm sure you will get 100! i guess i shouldnt get upset about it. Like everyone said, its more intimate with less people and its the really important people that matter and that will be there.

exactly - as long as you are meeting your minimum its going to be fine!

There are people like me getting all yeses and praying for nos!

I'm sad too....I just opened the mail and got 2 more No's today....I started crying to my mom....
We need like 60 more to meet our minimum....
I also thought alot of local people who are saying no, would have said yes.....I hope to get some more YES's!!!

If we have to say no to an invitation we always include a note with the rsvp. I think if the person thought enough of you to invite you, then that's the least you can do.

dont stress on the people that are saying no..concentrate on the people that are excited for your day and are coming

we invid a little over 230 and only had about 100 come

and that was including LIWers i invited..who TOTALLY SAVED MY BUTT!!!
