How soon before the wedding should I do this? I want it to last throughout the honeymoon, but don't want to be all red or in pain for the wedding.

Re: Getting Waxed
I'm getting mine done like 2 weeks before the wedding, I have very fair skin and it takes like a week before it looks normal again so I'm doing that,

Re: Getting Waxed
I would have to say it depends....how often do you get it done or is this your first time? I've been getting a brazillian once a month for the past 6-7 years. But I think I will probably do it a day or two before the wedding. It usually takes a week to a week and a half for anything to be visible.

Re: Getting Waxed
I've never done it before! I am nervous to do it the day before, but if it starts growing back in a week, I might have to!

i would suggest going now to see how you would react to it and then make you judgement based on that

I love the spas that has no double dipping policy. Its absolutely great. I recently tried hard wax and absolutely loved it.

Re: Getting Waxed
Bliss spa in nyc is amazingggggggg!!!!!!!!!! They don't double dip the sticks which some places do and that is completely gross and very unsanitary and it really doesn't hurt nearly as bad as the other place I have tried. I highly recommend Bella. I would get it as close to the wedding as you can (day or 2 before) that way it lasts the whole honeymoon. You should only be a little red that day and should go away before you wake up the next morning!

Re: Getting Waxed
I have a great waxer -- FM me if you want details.
My eyes and lip will be done the week before and then she will touch them up the day before if need be when I go in for everything else and my mani/pedi!

If you have never gone before - 3-4 days before. If you have gone before 1-2 days before.

I would try it now to see how your body reacts to it. This will help you decide when to have it done!!

i agree with trying it now so you know what to expect. You definitely don't want to spend your wedding night with raw skin down there!

I'm hesitant to get waxed because of that reason - they double deep!! yuck! But its good to know that Bliss does a good job - thanks! I'll give them a try

Re: Getting Waxed
I would start doing it a few months before the wedding. I've been doing it for awhile also and go once a month. I would do it 2 days before your wedding. I have sensitive skin so it takes a day or so that my skin isn't tender to the touch.
