I'm going to privee salon. SOmeone on here recommended Martha there and said she is very good with first time bikini waxers. I'll definitely take the advil!!
I have ReALLY sensitive skin, and I use bikini zone after waxing to prevent any redness/swelling. I also use it on my eyebrows, its GREAT, you can get it at any drugstore!
I've used Aloe before... maybe a little unconventional but it always soothes any pain I have. It feels cold which is nice, just like when you get sunburned. Can be a bit sticky though...
i took advil, ibprofen, anything of the sort, she spoke to me the whole time to take my mind off of it, she alson told me a girl brings in her ipod!!!! i ahve also read in magazines to make sure you do not go a week b4 or after your period!...sorry to get so personal, but hey, thats what i read HTH
i actually just went for my brazilian yesterday. i agree with the PPs...definitely keep a conversation going all the time. it lets the time go by faster. and definitely take pain reliever an hour before you go. and make sure you don't shave! it makes it worse.
