Getting worried

Getting worried

FH and I have been doing nothing but fighting. September had to be the worst month we've ever had. Im so stressed with trying to get everything done for a wedding that Im starting to have doubts will even happen.

Sorry to start a Monday morning like this but I had to get it out

It's not the wedding planning that's stressing me it's the idea that we might not even make it to May that's stressing me. Fh and I are just not getting along

so sorry, try not to stress. everyone has their ups and downs. why don't you get away from wedding stuff and have a date this week without any wedding talk? that is what we do when we stress too much!

good luck, hang in there

I am sure you guys will be fine. It's a very stressful time in your life. Maybe you should plan something that the 2 of you can do by yourselves with no mention of wedding stuff.

Awww I'm so sorry you are going through this. Don't worry things will get better, you guys are both stressed out with the wedding. Try to work out what is bothering you.

I know how you feel...Wedding planning can definitely take over your life, if you let it...I'm sure you two will be fine. I would skip a week of wedding planning...don't even bring it up, just enjoy spending time with you FH and enjoy each other.

Re: Getting worried

I agree with all of the above posters. Take some time off from wedding planning and work on your relationship a little. Dr Phil always says that people spend too much time planning the wedding and not enough time planning the marriage. You're engaged now! and that obviously means that your FH loves you and wants to spend his life with you, so don't feel like you won't make it until may! relationships are work... they don't come easy! so spend a little time working on the two of you... have some quiet dinners, see a movie, watch tv together and talk....

It's not the wedding planning that's causing the friction. We just havent been getting alone when it comes to everyday normal things. I dont know

The Problem

I think everyone goes through those times of doubt when you are getting ready to spend the rest of your life with someone. I know I have and so have a few of my friends who are now married with children and happy. You just have to figure out if it is just normal doubts or if it is something to really be worried about.
Do you have any friends that are married and may be able to shed some light on this for you?
Good luck..

especially now, tensions are high! Why dont you make some time for a you and him date, like before and just kiss and snuggle and make him and yourself realize why you are getting married in the first place!

Re: Getting worried

Take a long weekend for the two of you with no wedding planning and no discussion of weddings!! Just the two of you. Talk and hang out. Things can be really stressfull right now.

Try not to stress out. I think all of us go through rough patches at one point or another. Everything will work out!

I know what you mean, same thing in my house actually August was really bad, but its all related with the stress from the wedding. Try to control your anger or maybe you need some space.

Re: Getting worried

Maybe it is that the two of you are spending too much time together and you both just need a break and to go out with your friends.
I know that happens to us sometimes.

Re: Getting worried

You are not alone...me and fh been fighting a lot too. I just think its stress and we haven't really had time just to enjoy one another and we are focusing too much on other things like the wedding and other events that are happening... try to focus on your relationship and spend quality time one on one and not talk about the wedding during that time.

good luck it will happen!!!

I've only annouced that i was cancelling the wedding like everyday!!! you'll get over it!
